[Samba] using files directly form share (Linux -> Linux)

Dear List users!

I have a fileserver storing all my mp3s. Now I want to play this files 
in my xmms.

I do open the filebrowser and typing smb://.....
Then using Drag&Drop to do the files in xmms.

It is not possible to play this files. I first allway have to copy them 
to my desktop pc. Then I can play them.

If I mount the smb-share, then it works directly.

But how can I play the files without mounting the share?
