^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This means you have not correctly defined an idmap uid/gid
range.  Make sure that there are no spaces in between
the lower and upper id number ni the range.
