[Samba] Unable to access and browse a DFS tree

You could try experimenting w/ the following options in your [dfs] section.:
map to guest = [ never | bad user | bad password ]
public = yes (a.k.a. "guest ok = yes" )
guest only = yes
guest account = ftp
