Greg,

Just go to local users and groups on the Windows client, open up Administrators,
and then "Add..." the domain user account to that group.

Or are you trying to do that, and at some point it's failing? After clicking
"Add.." does it let you browse the domain users OK?

If that's not working then you can always map domain-admins to a unix group on
the samba server itself...

...trouble is they'll be domain admins, and not only on their local machine but
every other machine in the domain they choose to log onto also.

Then again the old "admin users=@wheel" which I used to use on 2.2 (and for some
reason stopped working with Samba 3) was like this and it never really bothered me.
