Hi,

I have recently done some test with samba and connected it to AD to try to
get uid and gid from the SFU extension of AD. When I run getent passwd i get
the following output:

<snip>
test1:x:10003:16777216:test1:/home/test1:/bin/ksh
test2:x:10001:16777216:test2:/home/test2:/bin/sh
test3:x:16777216:16777216:test3:/home/test3:/bin/bash
test4:x:10005:16777216:test4:/home/test4:/bin/bash
test5:x:10002:16777216:test5:/home/test5:/bin/bash
<snip>

The user test3 has gotten stuck with an old and wrong uid and I'm now
wondering if I can regenerate/reset the user and group mapping database?

Thanks in advance,

Johan
