[Samba] XP home & saba

hi,

i've some XP pro and one XP home workstation. samba runs in sharemode:

        server string = SERVER

        passwd program = /usr/bin/passwd %u
        passwd chat = *Enter\snew\sUNIX\spassword:* %n\n

        max log size = 1000
        time server = Yes
        dns proxy = No
        ldap ssl = no
        panic action = /usr/share/samba/panic-action %d
        invalid users = root

the xp pro clients and the server are on the subnet 192.168.1.0/24 and the
xp home is on 192.168.10.0/24 connected by a router.

the xp pro workstations work with out any problem. but the xp home asks for
a username and password. why ?

any suggestions ?
