[Samba] Permissions issue with CIFS mounted share

Indeed, it does seem to be backwards in  compatability as apposed to backwards compatable.

All my mounts come up as NFSNOBODY with rwxr-xr-x permissions despite mount options.
The workaround I'm using for this is to use the "noperm" option when mounting.
