[Samba] Help: smbd & nmbd normal states

This problem has been documented and solved. See "Fedora core 5 and Samba"
dated July 27, 2006.
In essence the problem is an incompatibility between "cups" and samba
versions.
Apparently the following versions work:
samba-client-3.0.23a-1.fc5.1
samba-3.0.23a-1.fc5.1
samba-common-3.0.23a-1.fc5.1

cups-1.2.2-1.1
cups-libs-1.2.2-1.1
