[Samba] Documentation for Idmap backend?

Dear all,

I want to ask if there are any documentation on the behavior of

idmap backend = ad
and
winbind nss info = template | sfu | rfc2307

I cannot find much information on samba HOWTO/Book/etc.
I want to know if these options is useful in solving the
SID maps to existing UID problem I posted earlier.
