Hi, Alex
Thank you very much for your reply.
My environment seems to be complicated.
I have a file server to provide shared hard disk
to Windows and Linux. The file server provides
hard disk to Windows through samba, provides
hard disk to Unix through NFS as follows:
In my environment, on Windows side I got:
----------------Windows begin---------------------------
C:\Documents and Settings\deform>net use
New connections will be remembered.
Status Local Remote Network
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK S: \\Magenta\suse92 Microsoft Windows Network
The command completed successfully.
----------------Windows end---------------------------
On Unix side:
----------------Unix begin---------------------------
deform at suse92:/home/deform/fileserver> df -k
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hdb5 10490040 259360 10230680 3% /
tmpfs 127468 36 127432 1% /dev/shm
/dev/hdb1 409580 38464 371116 10% /boot
/dev/hdb11 20972152 19426068 1546084 93% /home
/dev/hdb9 10490040 1287992 9202048 13% /opt
/dev/hdb8 5236956 806728 4430228 16% /srv
/dev/hdb10 5245016 62840 5182176 2% /tmp
/dev/hdb6 20972152 6035316 14936836 29% /usr
/dev/hdb7 31462264 5225104 26237160 17% /var
magenta.sftc:/share/unix/common
209708800 84649248 125059552 41% /home/deform/common
magenta.sftc:/share/unix/suse92
209708800 84649248 125059552 41%
/home/deform/fileserver
deform at suse92:/home/deform/fileserver>
----------------Unix end---------------------------
So my question becomes that is it possible to know local
path at linux from Windows side:
(S: \\Magenta\suse92) -->
(magenta.sftc:/share/unix/suse92) -->
(deform at suse92:/home/deform/fileserver)
S: points to /home/deform/fileserver at suse92 ?
Best regards.
