Hi,
Where can I cancel that group membership :-<
Now seriously, just filled a bug at bugzilla ( https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3652 ).
Another thing, the problem subsists in 3.0.22, only the Panic gives a different message:

  ===============================================================
[2006/04/02 20:18:56, 0] lib/fault.c:fault_report(37)
  INTERNAL ERROR: Signal 11 in pid 3504 (3.0.22)
  Please read the Trouble-Shooting section of the Samba3-HOWTO
