[Samba] printer question

This is probably a dumb question, but I just want to be sure.  I'm
thinking of letting a linux machine print serve for my home network.
Problem is, print quality is not too great on this printer in linux.

So, the question is, will the print quality be bad for the windows
clients too, or will they somehow get better quality through their own
drivers?  I assume it's the former, but if it's the latter then can it
be said that print quality will be identical to if the printer were
connected directly to the windows machines?
