[Samba] Printing Delays - What's to blame?

Client OS Win2K SP4
Corel WordPerfect Suite 12 SP2
Joined to Samba PDC 3.0.14a / Debian Sarge
CUPS printing
HP LaserJet 4000 on server LPT1

Delay...
Corel Presentations
File / Print / Current View to get one page printed / OK
Select another page
File / Print / wait wait wait...
The dialog will not pop until the paper has come out of the printer for the previous job

Any suggestions of what direction to head in for locating the program / code with the waiting problem?
