With regard to message

progress on the implementation?

I work at a Windows shop where they implement a deep mapping with no
permission for users on the \\boxname\users level.
The \\boxname\users\username directory is visible if I get to it via
"smbclient" and then "cd" within smbclient.

Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks a lot for your insights.
