[Samba] net use error

when issuing a net user command to list user accounts I get the
following:

net user
Password:
root's password:
[2005/05/25 17:17:11, 0] utils/net_ads.c:ads_startup(191)
  ads_connect: Transport endpoint is not connected


Is this normal? Since I'm new to samba 3 I'm worried that I've
missconfigured something.

relavent server configs

security = user
passdb backend = tdbsam

This is a stand alone server that I want to eventually turn into a
domain controller.
