To use netbios aliases with Windows 2000 and
later clients, you have to force the client to
use port 139.  So set 'smb ports = 139' in smb.conf.

Alternatively you can use a multi-homed Samba box,
assign a different DNS name to each [virtual] interface
and use the %i var in place of %L.
