We could not authenticate from a Windws NT domain using Samba 3.0.10-1.4E. It was because winbind would not work properly. The fix was to copy winbindd from Samba 3.0.8-0.pre1.3 and voila! Tom Naves System Administrator Orthodyne Electronics
