Be sure at this point that your LDAP authentication is absolutely
solid. Yes it's an overly general statement like 'make sure your car is
running well before going out on the highway' but it is important. If
you have problems within LDAP, they'll be harder to spot after you try
to layer samba on. If you have replication, test the crap out of it.
Make sure auth works for all the services you want. If you store the
kitchen sink in LDAP make sure the drain runs properly.
>install samba with ldapsam

This will include compiling and installing the openldap libraries so
that samba has something to link against. You won't be using anything
other than libraries, no services, etc..
