[Samba] Can't see my Samba server into the A.D. Domain

I didn't think that my original question will became a Troll ;-)

Thank you all for your advices.
Thanks to Steve Christensen for all the packages I have downloaded from
"sunfreeware" for a longtime.
I will do my best to create myself, probably with your help, a package with
ADS/LDAP options.

Gilbert

Not so much. I don't really know how to respond to that in some sort of
civil way except to point you to a discussion on the term:

LDAP is based on the standards contained within the X.500
<http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/L/X_500.html> standard, but is significantly
simpler. And unlike X.500, LDAP supports TCP/IP
<http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/L/TCP_IP.html>, which is necessary for any
type of Internet <http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/L/Internet.html>
access. Because it's a simpler version of X.500, LDAP is sometimes called
/X.500-lite.

/I also drive a light-truck (that's a pickup, I hate calling it a truck...
anyway), to drive it I have to put gas in it. Gas is a complex mixture.
That's about the same analogy you're trying to make.
