[Samba] Serious Slowness Issues with Printing

Sounds similar, but in our case, it just takes forever to start printing
and then once it does print, it comes out as normal.

It may be an issue only with Windows 2000 machines, I'm using an XP
machine and I don't seem to have any problems, printing is pretty fast.

If have a similar problem, so just wondering if you have exactly my
problem.

I have a linux/samba server (1) Win 2000, (2) Win XP. On the 2000
machine
printing takes anything up to 2 minutes befor the first page is printed
and a
minute gap before each successive page starts to print.

On the XP machines printing is almost immediate.

The set up for the machines is identical.
