[Samba] Problem saving excel files

Hello everyone.

I have been experiencing problems with excel files on shared directories.
I found the only different relies on computer with service pack 2.
When opening the file and saving for the first time I get:

The file <file name> may have been changed by another user since you last
saved it.
In that case, what do you want to do?

Please anyone help fixing this problem.

I'm running samba 3.0.9-1.3E.3 On Redhat Enterprise 3 AS.
