[Samba] SMB signing problem

Hi!

I'm running SuSE 9.3, with the latest Samba release, and I keep getting 
the message "smb signing is incompatible with share level security".

Also, I cannot connect to my kid's Windows XP machine. (Previously, when 
they ran Windows 98, I had no problem doing so.)

Are both problems connected? How do I solve them?
