Hello. I have a simple samba share of one WinXP, one Win98SE, & FC3.
All interfaces are 10/100 nics. Going from the FC3 samba box to either
Windows box or Windows to Windowws I get a sustained transfer rate of
approx 30M. Going from either Windows box to the Samba client I get max
2MB (I use iptraf to monitor speeds) & normally about half that. I have
done a Google search, but all the answers seem to involve PDC's which I
am not (I think) running. Enclosed is my smb.conf, TIA.
