I had a thought, we are using DFS, could this be how our boxes vary? Most of
our users use the r&d share redirected through dfs. We have a windows 2000
domain server that the logons come from. Find attached our smb.conf (our
domain is not really called foo!). I will adjust the log level when users
have gone home...
