[Samba] Winbind giving errors like "illegal multibyte sequence ..."

at least the "Illegal multibyte sequence"-errors are fixed in 3.0.11rc1
(but not 3.0.10). You may want to test 3.0.11rc1 or 3.0.11 (out soon).
