Yes you can, but the question is not 'integrate sendmail with samba', 
but 'integrate sendmail with ldap' ...
As soon as your samba accounts are also posix accounts, you can 
configure sendmail to search ldap for mail addresses and use for example 
dovecot as imap server ...
