[Samba] smbwrapper

Hello.
I am new to the Samba community and am working on mapping to a shared directory on a W2K server.
Our HP/UX 11.11 server came with smbd and nmbd already installed, but from what I can tell, it may be required for me to reconfigure the make file to include --with-smbwrapper. Unfortunately, I am getting an error message of

checking configure summary... WARNING: No automated network interface determination
ERROR: no seteuid method available
configure: error: summary failure. Aborting config

Any help would be appreciated.
