Sure! That is what should happen. The profile NTUser.DAT file is specifically 
encoded to the users' SID. If you want to permit another user to share a 
profile, or want to transfer ownership of the profile the correct procedure 
must be followed.

It is possible to use the 'profiles' utility to change the SID to that of the 
new user.

For profile sharing it is necessary to use the appropriate methods Microsoft 
have documented to convert the profile into a group profile.
