[Samba] Problem with smbmount

Hello, I am having problems copying large amounts of data from a locally
mounted ext3 partition to an NTFS partition mounted using smbmount. My
"smbmount.log" file shows errors of the form:

[2005/04/03 17:48:19, 0] tdb/tdbutil.c:tdb_log(725)
  tdb(/var/lib/samba/gencache.tdb): tdb_lock failed on list 59 ltype=1 (Bad
file descriptor)

Any idea what causes this, so I can fix it ?

Copying small files seems to be ok, but attempting to copy a lage file, or
group of files, I get this problem.
