[Samba] Invalid username/password for ipc$ [nobody]

Hi,

this is the error I get in the log:

smbd/service.c:make_connection(331)
  Invalid username/password for ipc$ [nobody]
[2004/10/12 12:33:56, 2]
smbd/server.c:exit_server(511)
  Closing connections

now what should I look at?


background:

adding winXP pro clients into network
which previously had win95 clients.

upgraded to samba 2.2.12

added new user to win XP system,
same user, account, passwd as on samba
system (used smbpasswd -a to add)
