[Samba] FW: User/Group name not showing

My RH9 Samba 3 server is a member of an NT4 domain.

When viewing file properties from XP the security tab shows 
SIDs rather than the actual username.

When listing in linux, the UID is shown rather than the user and group name, eg
-rwxrw-rw-    1 10006    10001     1291933 Nov  1 14:47

I was hoping that XP would show the actual username of the owner etc.

Is this normal behavior?  If not, any suggestions on a fix or how to diagnose the problem?
