I am trying to install Samba on HP-UX 11.00 using the 3.0.5 binary from Samba.org. I installed the openssl and libiconv libraries from utah.edu. When I try to start smbd it coredumps with can not find path to libcrypto.sl. I have libcrypto.a in /opt/openssl/lib and I put it in my LD_LIRARY_PATH. Any ideas?
