I've similar entries in my log files:
May 25 10:16:24 kek nmbd[10096]: [2004/05/25 10:16:24, 0] 
May 25 10:16:24 kek nmbd[10096]:   create_workgroup: workgroup name MKK 
            ^[ is too long. Truncating to MKK

if I not wrap the lines (the middle of the line):
create_workgroup: workgroup name MKK            ^[ is too long. 
Truncating to MKK
