Thanks for the log file Randy.  This appears to be the
same bug as

~  https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1345

(which apparently also break robocopy).

What I would suggest is applying the patch for
bugs 1315, 1319 & 1345 (http://samba.org/~jerry/patches/post-3.0.4)
to Samba 3.0.4 and you should be ok.
