[Samba] wrong file size

I'm having a problem coping a 5GB file from
Windows NT 4 TSE to samba 3.0.4

This is the output from stat on this file:

  Size: 5393883136 Blocks: 8388728    IO Block: 4096   regular file
Device: 308h/776d Inode: 9           Links: 1    
Access: (0744/-rwxr--r--)  Uid: (10000/DOMAIN\!schedule)   Gid: (10000/DOMAIN\Domain Users)

Modify: 2004-05-14 23:30:27.000000000 +0200
Change: 2004-05-15 00:35:53.000000000 +0200

Size field shows the correct size, but blocks aren't
correct.

stat output on a catted file 'cat priv.edb > catted':

Here file size and blocks are correct.

My env: Slackware Linux 9.1 + vanilla 2.4.26 +
samba 3.0.4 + gcc 3.2.3 + glibc 2.3.2
