[Samba] KDE samba client -- browsing always opens password window

hi,

if i want to connect from linux to a windows share
it always prompts me user and password.
in every subfolder!

if i enter 'domain\user' and my 'password' (about 5 times)
i can connect to the windows share.

i use KDE 3.x and there i have configured
my username and password for accessing windows
shares in my windows AD network.

but it doesn't use this feature.

why?
how can i configure KDE to automatically use domain\user + pwd?
