Hi all,

here is a behaviour i can't explain.
I've got a samba 3.0 PDC and a XP client in VMWare.
When i log locally, i can see the pdc and access the shares.
then i can join the domain normally
after a reboot, i try to authentify against the pdc and ...
- i cant join inmost of the time
- when it manage to communicate i've got this log (level 10) :
  process_dgram: datagram from LEBESGUE<00> to CTC94<1c> IP 99.4.23.230 for
\MAILSLOT\NET\NETLOGON of type 18 len=88
  process_logon_packet: SAMLOGON request from LEBESGUE(99.4.23.230) for ,
returning logon svr \\B99D-790 domain CTC94 code 13 token=ffff
send_mailslot: Sending to mailslot \MAILSLOT\NET\GETDC468 from B99D-790<00> IP
99.4.23.222 to LEBESGUE<00> IP 99.4.23.230

- when i manage to authentify and open a session (rarely, and without any
explanation...), I can't use nbtstat (unable to load module) and neither i am
allowed to browse the domain (not enough permission)

The XP client is SP1 without any change in configuration except signorseal value.

any suggestions about this behaviour ???

on the other side, from a Linux client it works fine for authentication,
browsing and access to shares...

Many thanks,
Fred
