Dear Paul,

I just upgraded to the (I think) latest SuSE-kernel, 2.4.21-192-smp4G, still
no avail. I am pretty sure, though, that ACL support is compiled in, at least
the SuSE-kernel-config-file says:

CONFIG_REISERFS_FS_POSIX_ACL=y

I mean, POSIX ACLs work fine on Linux itself, just not via Samba. Could it
really be that the SuSE guys patched the kernel a little too much?

Sincerely,
