hi

i'm sorry to inform you, but it didn't work on Samba v3.0.4

the only parameter that works is

idmap backend = ldap:ldap://server:389

there was no way to get winbind work with neither (can't contact ldap
server for the xx try)

idmap backend = ldap:"ldap://server:389 ldap://server2:389"
idmap backend = ldap:"ldap://server:389" ldap:"ldap://server2:389"
idmap backend = ldap:"ldap://server:389",ldap:"ldap://server2:389"

...

is this a bug?

thx
