[Samba] Failed to initialise SAM_ACCOUNT for user

Hi,
trying to add users to my samba machine I got the following error:

magroup1:~ # smbpasswd -a samba
New SMB password:
Retype new SMB password:
Failed to initialise SAM_ACCOUNT for user samba.
Failed to modify password entry for user samba

What does it mean? I didn't find documentation about.
