[Samba] Please Help with Secondary Groups

I thought that the 1024 was only linked to the /etc/group file itself. 
Do you think that this could be the problem?  If so, how does one get
around that limitation??

IIRC - there was a limit of 1024 characters per 'line' which would be
the group itself.
