[Samba] step by step migration guide?

Samba-3 should work with samba-2.x smb.conf file. The exceptions are in
respect of the deprecated parameters.

Always backup your /etc/samba directory (or/usr/local/samba/lib if you
have used home-grown samba binaries). Also backup your tdb files - just in
case you need to revert.
