Getting some pretty bad performance via samba!

Seems everything is okay at first with good responses copying data to a
drive mounted on a W2K client from a Solaris 9 server. After a bit the samba
process on the servers gets very busy and performance drops (like a stone)
and applications start to time out!

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Simon
