[Samba] Samba and win2k as PDC authentication.

Hello all,

I have a small WAN that currently has NT4 boxes running as BDC at each remote
site. Central site has Win2K box running as PDC.

I wish to replace all the NT4 boxes with Linux using samba, I cannot however
change the PDC as there is proprietary software running on it that is
accessed by all regions.

Would there be a way to use Samba as a BDC (I see only PDC in the docs) and
have Samba proxy auth requests to the win2k pdc so that users are
authenticated correctly to the win2k box for their proprietary apps?

simple question, hope someone has done this and can help.
