[Samba] How do I smbmount My Documents with write permission.

I can't seem to mount My Documents to my Linux Redhat box with write permission.
Root can write, but the owner can't.  They owner can write in subdirectories,
can modify files, but can't create a new one.  What's up here?  What's special
about My Documents?

Here is my mount command from fstab:
//moho/user   /home/moho_user smbfs credentials=/home/user/.smbpwd,uid=thearn,gid=user,fmask=777,dmask=777 0 0
