[Samba] Dos Filenames..

Hello..

i have a problem with dos filenames..

when doing dir /x (to see the 6char's and ~1)
i get somthing like E93EUE~G instead of EUDORA~1

so i added the following to my smb.conf

mangling method = hash
mangling prefix = 5
mangle case = yes

but it made no difference ..

so how can i get more normal dos names for my samba share ??
i thought mangling prefix did this trick ??
