[Samba] net rpc getsid fails - help

I am getting the following error:

net rpc getsid -S samba1 -W DOMAIN -U
Administrator%password
[2004/02/02 11:22:50, 0]
lib/util_sock.c:read_socket_with_timeout(279)
  read_socket_with_timeout: timeout read. read error =
Connection reset by peer.

What could be causing this?
