[Samba] Re: File locking issues with Peachtree

I took Peachtree's suggestions into account while developing our Samba 3 PDC standard some months ago. Thus far not a single locking issue with many applications including database systems. There are 
both some client and server side settings. Please see my presentation on our configuration for the details.

By searching for the Windows registry key names you can find the KB articles for complete details of what the settings do. The Samba settings are well documented by the materials I reviewed at the end 
of the presentation.
