[Samba] Change password giving error 1728 rpc protocol error

This my be useful to others.

Been tareing my hair out over a samba PDC (version 3.0.6) that I get
this 1728 error when I try and change the password from a Win XP box. 

Just installed SP2 service pack and it works now
