[Samba] Winbind can't connect to ldap server after 3.0.6

I just upgraded my samba PDc from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6 and now winbind doesn't connect
to the ldap server. Did any configuration parameters change? testparm doesn't
show any errors and if I use the ldapsearch tool with the same bind dn as samba
uses I get a good response from the ldap server. I used the rpms from the samba
site for Fedora Core 2. When I try to restart winbind (service winbind start)
it hangs for a little while and then says [OK]. But when I look in the log
file, it says it failed connecting to the ldap server 15 times.
